Does the G7 require perimeter wires?
No. The G7 uses NetRTK and VSLAM navigation, enabling fully wire-free mapping and mowing — no perimeter installation needed.
Can it handle trees, flower beds, and complex yards?
Yes. The G7 is designed for complex garden layouts and intelligently navigates around trees, flower beds, and pathways. Its 4-wheel-drive system handles uneven terrain, climbs slopes up to 80% (38.7°), and clears obstacles up to 6 cm (2.4 in) high. You can also set No-Go Zones to protect sensitive areas.
How close does it mow to edges?
For traversable boundaries, the G7 supports edge mowing and can cut very close to the boundary when mapped along the edge during setup. For non-traversable boundaries (walls, fences, raised curbs), a small strip of about 10–15 cm may remain uncut due to safety clearance.
Can I use one G7 at multiple properties?
Yes. The G7 supports multi-zone and multi-map management. You can create multiple lawn zones within a single map, and save separate maps for different properties — no re-mapping needed when switching locations. Note: switching maps stops the current task and resets its progress.

Does the G7 collect grass clippings?
No — and that’s by design. The G7 uses a mulching system that finely cuts grass and returns it to the lawn, eliminating the need for a collection bag. The clippings decompose naturally and act as fertilizer, promoting a healthier, greener lawn. For best results, mow regularly during the growing season.
Does it return to the charging station automatically?
Yes. When the battery runs low, the G7 automatically returns to its charging station, then resumes mowing exactly where it left off once charged.
CONNECTIVITY
How does the G7 connect to the internet?
The G7 has a built-in 4G module with 3 years of free 4G service included, plus WiFi support. If your WiFi becomes unstable, the mower automatically switches to 4G to keep running without interruption. An internet connection is required during operation, as NRTK positioning relies on live correction data for accurate navigation.
What happens after the free 4G period ends?
After the included 3 years of free 4G service, you can renew for just $29 per year.
WEATHER & MAINTENANCE
What happens when it rains?
With Rain Delay enabled, the G7 automatically returns to its charging station when rain is detected and waits for your set delay period. Once the delay expires — and if conditions are suitable — it resumes mowing or starts any pending scheduled task. Prefer mowing in the rain? Simply disable Rain Delay.
Can I wash the mower with water?
Yes. Thanks to its IPX6 water-resistant design, the G7 can be safely rinsed with water for routine cleaning. Avoid high-pressure washers or jets, which may damage seals or electrical components.
